Josip Mihaljević a junior research assistant at the Department of Contemporary History at Croatian Institute of History. He is working on the project “Authority and Society: Communist Regime in Croatia 1945-1990”. He is also a secretary of the journal Časopis za suvremenu povijest [Journal of Contemporary History], most respected Croatian historiographical journal for contemporary history. His research interests include social history and history of everyday life of Croatia and Yugoslavia during the communist regime.
