Krzysztof Brzechczyn is Professor of Philosophy at the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland and head of Department of Scientific Research at Poznań Branch of Institute of National Remembrance. Selected Publications (in Polish): Historical Distinctiveness of Central Europe. A Methodological Study (1998), and On the Multitude of Developmental Lines in Historical Process. An Attempt of Interpretation of Evolution of Mexican Society (2004); as editor, Idealization XIII: Modeling in History (Rodopi 2009). He has published in the journals “Debatte: Journal of Contemporary Central and Eastern Europe,” „East European Politics and Societies,” „East European Quarterly,” and „Epistemologia.
