University of Graz. Tamara Pavasovic Trost received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University in 2012. Her dissertation involved two years of qualitative research, participant observation and in-depth interviewing in middle schools in Serbia and Croatia, on the topic of “History and Identity”. She is interested in issues of ethnic identity and nationalism, collective memory, history textbook revisionism, and ethnic distance/stereotypes, focusing on the Balkan region. She is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of Graz, Austria.
